We&#8217;ll look at a couple of useful exercises to develop basic fluency and an example bass groove. Octaves are a piece of vocabulary that crops up in bass lines across many different genres, and as such it&#8217;s extremely beneficial to build significant fluidity with them! One example I gave inside is Jamiroquai&#8217;s Canned Heat (Transcription coming down the line!) but many MANY disco lines also use a lot of octave vocabulary and given that we almost always need to skip strings for them, nailing down exactly how you&#8217;re going to approach them is worthy of attention!
